Haltwhistle Carnival

Haltwhistle Carnival

Here is a photo of the tombola stall at Haltwhistle Carnival. It was a lovely hot day with crowds of people and there were only 12 things left on the stall.

This was great after such a washout at the Roman Wall show.

Thank you all, once again, for your kind support.

The Roman Wall Show

This was our first attempt at running a bottle tombola, Lynn and Alison were up bright and early to set up our stall.  It started off so very well, our gazebo very quickly became a tent of sunshine as we hid from the rather black clouds over head.

We met some really lovely people who came and bought raffle tickets from our stall, unfortunately due to the typical British weather we had to pack up early as the heavens opened.  We are looking forward to doing the next one (hopefully with nicer weather).

All donations are very much appreciated and all go towards a good cause, thank you to everyone who donated bottles and to the people who purchased raffle tickets on the day.  We couldn’t do without you all!
