“I Find Your Love”
After beating off some very talented competition the winner of Sage Struck was 18 year old Philip Bolam from Newcastle who is a student at the Sage Academy of Performing Arts. The judges had an incredibly difficult time making their final decision and we would like to thank all those who took part and so willingly gave up their time for us. We hope you will go on to achieve your dreams.
Phil recorded the song “I Find Your Love” at the Sage Gateshead, accompanied by Kate Thompson and the Northern Sinfonia , on 16th March after a complete make-over courtesy of John Lewis, Newcastle.The CD was very successfully premiered on 1st March 2007 at the wonderful Malmaison, Newcastle with not a dry eye in the house. Many thanks to everybody who attended and all those who assisted in so many, many ways. We could not do what we do without you all. Special thanks to Emily and Phil who were the stars of the evening and did us proud.
Philip performed the song at Windows of the Arcade, Newcastle on Thursday, 22nd March and signed copies of the CD. Lots of folk came along to enjoy the music, meet Philip and find out more about us.
