Steels Social Club Raise Over £10,000 for CHIN-UP

NINE YEARS AGO, Tommy Armstrong (far left) decided to run a weekly ‘domino card’ at Steels Social Club in Sunderland where he was a committee member in order to support CHIN-UP.
To celebrate breaking the £10,000 mark, the club presented a cheque to Tyne Tees Television’s Weatherman, Bob Johnson (far right), who accepted it on behalf of CHIN-UP.
A trustee of CHIN-UP paid tribute to “Steels Club’s fantastic fundraising and for their compassion and generosity over such a long period of time.”
